THE RULES OF THE MOBILE PHONES IMPORT

The foreign citizens can temporarily import the single samples of the mobile phones standards of which are registered in Ukraine (GSM 900, GSM 1800, NMT).

According to the Order # 133 of the State Committee of Communications and Information Systems of Ukraine from September 21, 2000 the import of the mobile phones from abroad is made without the preliminary permissions but in the quantity not more than two mobile telephones.

According to the Letter 09/09-3489-EP from July 13, 2001 of the State Customs Service the special attention is paid the mobile telephones declaration with the necessary customs check up. According to this Letter, with the purpose of the customs control and providing the revenues on the mobile phones import to the Federal budget, the attention of the Customs Authorities should be paid to the following:

• the mobile phones have a code according to UKTZED 8525 20 91 00;
• during the customs control of the citizens' goods pay attention to the mobile phone's declaration;
• when the mobile phones are declared, it is important to determine the customs price using the payment documents, receipts, invoices and other documents or using the other actions limited by law to get the full revenues to the State budget;
• if the mobile phones are declared - to carry out the necessary customs review and counting of the actual number of the mobile phones.

THE RULES OF THE MOBILE PHONES USING

According to the Order #134 of the State Committee of the Communications and Information Systems of Ukraine from September 21, 2000 there is no permission of the Authorities needed to obtain and use the mobile phones (p.2.7 of the list)
